Overview: The Preschool Teacher's Assistant is responsible for the implementation of a broad range of programs, including state-licensed childcare, and works closely with the Preschool Lead Teacher to ensure a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for children. This role involves supporting daily classroom activities, fostering positive social-emotional development, and assisting with the delivery of age-appropriate learning experiences.
Responsibilities:
Assist the Preschool Lead Teacher in implementing the daily schedule, including group activities, playtime, and rest periods.
Support curriculum delivery in language, math, art, and social skills development.
Help organize classroom materials and maintain a safe, clean, and engaging learning environment.
Provide individualized support to children, encouraging participation and adherence to routines.
Foster positive social interactions and model respectful communication and conflict resolution.
Supervise children during activities to ensure safety and well-being.
Assist with daily tasks such as snack preparation and other routines.
Collaborate with the Lead Teacher on assessing children's development and creating individualized learning plans.
Participate in staff meetings and professional development opportunities.

Qualifications:
Must be 18+ and have a high school diploma or equivalent
Must be or become certified in CPR, First Aid, and AED
Successfully pass all BCI requirements
No prior experience required; training provided
