Notes: This fun-loving, on-the-go family is looking for a reliable and upbeat nanny to help keep their busy weekday routine running smoothly! Care is needed Monday through Thursday afternoons and evenings, primarily for two active, affectionate, and outgoing siblings-an 8-year-old son in a Spanish immersion program and a 4-year-old daughter who will turn 5 this fall. Both children are engaged in a variety of after-school activities, including soccer, cheer, dance, gymnastics, swimming, and speech therapy, and transportation is a major component of this role (a vehicle is provided). The ideal nanny is very comfortable transporting children to and from activities. A clean driving record is a must. The typical day includes school pickups, snack or dinner on the go, activity transport, homework help when needed, and supporting their evening routines-especially on Thursdays when the parents are out for a few hours. The family has two small dogs and a fluffy cat (bigger than the dogs!) and lives with grandma (91 years old and deaf), who is home during the evenings. Their parenting approach is gentle, consistent, and structure-based, with timeouts and natural consequences used as discipline (but bedrooms are never used as a punishment). They're looking for someone who can create a calm, positive environment, keep the kids on schedule, and help everyone stay on track during this full season of life. This position is long-term and the family will be seeking care every school year (Aug-May) for the foreseeable future. The family travels on school breaks and would love a candidate that would be open to house and pet sitting during those times.
