New Horizons Montessori Academy is hiring fun, dependable part-time Aftercare Teachers to join our Montessori team! This position is perfect for college students or individuals seeking experience in a nurturing school environment.
Aftercare Teachers supervise and engage children during afternoon hours, ensuring a safe, caring, and relaxed environment. Activities are typically play-based and child-led.
Maintain proper staff-to-student ratios
Supervise and interact with children during play
Assist infants/toddlers with hygiene and packing belongings
Escort children to their parents at pickup and provide brief updates
Close classrooms following end-of-day procedures
Prioritize student safety and well-being
Monday to Friday, 2:00 PM - 5:30 PM
- $20.00 per hour
1+ years of childcare experience with children other than your own
Fully vaccinated for COVID-19
High School Diploma or GED
Eligible to work in the U.S.
Able to pass all required background checks: FBI fingerprinting, child abuse, criminal clearance
Recent physical and TB tests
