Pre-K Teacher

Overview:

We are a Grow NJ four star rated school seeking a compassionate and dedicated Preschool Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for early childhood education and a desire to create a nurturing environment that fosters growth, curiosity, and creativity in young children. This role is responsible for teaching and guiding students in a preschool setting, while ensuring their safety, well-being, and overall development.

Responsibilities:

• Plan and implement engaging and developmentally appropriate lessons for preschoolers, focusing on social, emotional, cognitive, and physical skills.
  
• Use a variety of teaching methods, such as play-based learning, to promote active learning and exploration.
  
• Establish and maintain a positive classroom environment that encourages respect, cooperation, and independence.
  
• Utilize a range of materials and resources, including educational software, to support learning and engagement.
  
• Implement Creative Curriculum that aligns with relevant standards and regulations.
  
• Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a cohesive approach to teaching and learning.
  
• Keep accurate records of student progress and maintain a safe and organized classroom environment.
  
• Communicate effectively with parents and guardians to provide regular updates on their child's development and progress.
  

Skills:

• Excellent knowledge of child welfare and the needs of young children.
  
• Strong educational background and experience in teaching and guiding students.
  
• Experience working with students of various ages and abilities.
  
• Strong classroom management skills.
  
• Ability to communicate effectively with parents, guardians, and colleagues.
  
• Experience in early childhood education and familiarity with relevant standards and regulations.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
