We are in search of dynamic and experienced Early Childhood Assistant Teachers/Floaters for our
Toddler and Preschool classes.If you have experience working with children between the ages of 2-5 and are looking for a new challenge, then Little People Big Dreams Learning Center is the place for you. We are looking for someone who is passionate about early childhood education, has a great attitude, enjoys working with children, and most importantly, has an understanding of patience and love for children.

- Early Childhood Intern Certificate from Delaware First
- Must have a High School Diploma or GED. Additional training may be needed.
- Experience working with children preschool age or younger in a group setting.
- Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Interact with children and encourage their involvement in activities.
- Instruct children with a compassionate and nurturing method (as directed by Director or Lead Teacher).
- Greet children individually and with warmth and friendliness.
- Help to maintain an environment of warmth, safety, and compassion.
- Be responsible for the health, well-being, and safety of children.
- Review each individual child�s classroom files with regard to their medical and developmental histories as needed
- Interact with parents
- Maintain confidentiality of children and family�s personal information and center files/information at all times.
- The Early Childhood intern works with the lead and assistant teachers to provide a warm and loving atmosphere for children ages 2 to 5 years.
- Teachers and interns work together to support the academic and social development of the children.
