Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Babysitter to provide exceptional care for children in our community. As a Babysitter, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety, well-being, and development of the children under your care. This is a paid position with flexible hours.
Duties:
- Provide attentive and nurturing care to children of various ages
- Create a safe and stimulating environment for children to learn and play
- Prepare meals and snacks for children, considering any dietary restrictions or preferences
- Engage children in age-appropriate activities, including educational and recreational activities
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of play areas and children's belongings
- Communicate effectively with parents or guardians regarding daily activities, progress, and any issues that may arise
Experience:
- Previous experience in caregiving, infant care, nannying, or related roles is preferred
- Knowledge of first aid and CPR is highly desirable
- Familiarity with toddler care and early childhood development principles
- Experience working in a daycare or childcare setting is a plus
Requirements:
- Must be at least 15 years old
- Reliable transportation
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities effectively
- Strong interpersonal skills to build rapport with children and their families
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $10.00 - $12.00 per hour
Expected hours: 8 - 20 per week
