St. Bernard’s School is seeking a caring and responsible After School Assistant to help supervise and engage students in our after-school program. This part-time position is ideal for college students, retirees, or anyone who enjoys working with children in a positive, faith-filled environment.
- Supervise and ensure the safety of students during after-school hours
- Assist with homework, activities, and games
- Provide support for snacks and cleanup
- Communicate effectively with parents, students, and staff
- Maintain a welcoming and supportive environment
- Enjoy working with children in grades PreK-5
- Reliable, responsible, and patient
- Previous experience in childcare or education is a plus but not required
- Must pass background checks and complete child safety training
Flexible! Work 1-5 afternoons per week from school dismissal until 5:30 PM.
