The Dean of Students collaborates with the administrative team for the overall leadership at each school.
- A valid State of Oregon Teaching License appropriate for the position
- A minimum of a Bachelor�s degree from an accredited institution
- The ability to follow oral and written instructions
- The ability to effectively work and communicate with students, parents, and school personnel from diverse cultures and/or backgrounds
- The ability to work harmoniously with others
- Proficient oral and written communication skills in English
- Proficient in the use of computer and Internet based applications, including but not limited to email and systems applications
- The ability to learn new automated systems as they are brought online by the District
- Completed, or currently enrolled in, administrative credential program
- Maintain integrity of confidential information relating to students, staff, or district patrons
- Hold a valid certificate in a District approved student intervention system or be able to obtain in 60 days
- Bilingual English/Spanish required (bilingual is defined as fluency in reading, writing and speaking two languages as determined by District screening tool)
