The Manager of Nursing manages 24/7 unit/department operations or a business function. The Manager ensures high quality, patient-centered care through oversight of the overall daily function and staffing of the unit/department. The Manager monitors and evaluates the provision of nursing care in accordance with established policies/procedures and holds staff accountable for quality and clinical outcomes in support of facility objectives.

• Current Florida license as Registered Nurse or Recognized Compact Licensure (subject to Florida State Licensing Requirements, including/not limited to ongoing eligibility and duration provisions)
  
• Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing
  
• Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) certification or must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
  
• Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification or must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
  
• Minimum 1 year of clinical nursing experience in an acute care setting
  
• Minimum 1 year of experience as a full time Charge Nurse/ Coordinator, Nursing Administrative Supervisor, or Nursing Management
  

HCA Florida Highlands Hospital is a 126-bed acute hospital. We offer a full range of Emergency, Surgical and Inpatient and Outpatient services. We have served Sebring, Florida, and the surrounding counties since 1965. We offer advanced technology, attracting the most qualified physicians and surgeons in the area. Our Emergency Room is the area’s only dedicated Senior ER. This features designated parking and hearing amplifiers.
