RNESU is seeking an enthusiastic, innovative, and collaborative teacher to fill an Early Education teacher vacancy at Otter Creek Academy to begin August 2025.Successful candidates should be properly licensed or eligible for licensure to teach their content area. Applicants must demonstrate: knowledge in current instructional research and exemplary practices, a student-centered focus, an integrated approach to curriculum and instruction, a willingness to be flexible and be creative regarding instruction and assessment, exemplary oral and written communication skills, effectiveness regarding rapport with students, and communication with parents and students.Required Qualifications: Holds or is eligible to hold a Vermont Teaching License with appropriate endorsement in early childhoodPreferred Qualifications: Knowledge and understanding of Teaching Strategies Gold and STARS Program Knowledge and experience (preferably) with VELS Knowledge of age-appropriate classroom management skills that focus on positive reinforcement. Ability to meet the basic competencies and qualifications of the endorsement(s) as listed in the Regulations Governing the Licensing of Educators and the Preparation of Educational Professionals Commitment to the success of all students, and experience providing interventions to struggling students Strong understanding of summative and formative assessments Ability to provide intervention recommendations for individuals to meet instructional goals Ability to use a variety of approaches to establish a safe and caring classroom community and to provide a respectful learning environment for students Knowledge of best practices regarding school-wide student management protocols (i.e., Responsive Classroom, Multi-Tier Support System, PBIS) Ability to integrate technology into the learning environment Ability to communicate and collaborate with parents, community members & businesses Ability to use formative assessment to provide student feedback and to adjust lesson deliveryAbility for excellent teaching, organizational, planning, written and oral communication, and collaboration skills Ability to interact respectfully and collegially with colleagues Ability to participate on a team in contribution to the school Maintain records as required by law, district policy, and administrative regulationsInterested candidates should apply on schoolspring.com to: Tina RoachPrincipal
