DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Contacts patients to review pertinent past medical history, including medications, any allergies, and to request information about the patient�s outside medical providers.
  • Requests information from outside providers and synthesize information.
  • Utilizes appropriate nursing judgment while requesting and assessing information.
  • Performs administrative duties pertinent to position.

REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES:


  • Bilingual in Spanish.
  • Knowledge of health care laws, regulations, and nursing care methods and procedures.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Advanced knowledge of EMRs.
  • Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:


  • High school diploma/GED.
  • Graduation from an accredited school of nursing and current licensure in California.
  • Ophthalmic/plastics surgery experience (preferred).


Preference will be given to applicants with experience in vision care. Hourly rate will be determined based on experience and training of the candidate. Review of applications will continue until the position is filled.


POSITION LOCATION: EYE-Q Vision Care Fresno


SCHEDULE: Monday-Friday


PAY RANGE: $46.82 - $63.99 depending on licensure, skills, experience, and education.
