Vernon Manor is looking for a full-time receptionist. This position works the Days, Monday through Friday.
Responsibilities* Greet and direct visitors as they enter and exit the facility.
Ensure positive interactions with residents, staff, family members and visitors.
Answer and direct incoming phone calls.
Record phone messages for employees or residents.
Assist with questions and direct residents as needed.
Monitor front door area for residents who may be potential wanderers and redirect.
Presenting the foremost impression of the facility. Customer Service is the focal point
Providing administrative support to management by performing various clerical duties and responsibilities including organizing, receiving and processing information.
Sort mail for distribution in mail slots and on units.
Handle resident accounts.
Qualifications* Knowledge of customer service principles and practices.
Knowledge of and ability to handle multi-phone lines
Knowledge of professional telephone and personal interaction etiquette.
Possess excellent verbal and written communication.
Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures.
Knowledge and experience of relevant software applications, spread sheets, word processing, and database management.
Possess multi-tasking, attention to detail, organization, and time management skills.
Possess professional personal presentation.
Possess ability to work independently on assigned tasks as well as to accept direction on given assignments to meet deadlines and timeframes.
Able to maintain confidentiality.
