We are seeking a Program Assistant who is interested in joining our

Peer Recovery team, in Wilmington, DE.


Some of the duties of the Program Assistant include:


  • To support the daily operations of the Peer Recovery Center by providing administrative services and support.
  • To assist in the planning and delivery of program activities and services.


Qualifications:


  • High school diploma or GED and 2 years of prior secretarial/office experience.
  • Excellent communication skills both oral and written.
  • Detailed oriented.
  • Knowledge and or experience of mental health disorders, service and recovery values, principles and practices.
  • Computer skills, competency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point programs, ability to use the Internet.
  • Possess a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.


Scope:


  • Light lifting and/or carrying, not to exceed 25 lbs.
  • Manual dexterity.
  • Frequent talking and listening.
  • Must be available for local travel.
