Position Objective:
This position is responsible for providing policy project management support to the Chief and Deputy Chief, Policy & External Relations, to include, but not limited to, communications, keynote presentations, coordination between agencies on top policy issues, and following through on executive actions for all areas of the organization. The position is also responsible for the implementation of all policy and administrative directives of the Policy & External Relations Office. In addition, the position is responsible for close coordination and communication with critical executive leaders at HQ as well as across the MTA to ensure that policy, project, and program initiatives are successful, as well as handling meeting preparation and follow-up.

According to the New York State Public Officers Law & the MTA Code of Ethics, all employees who hold a policymaking position must file an Annual Statement of Financial Disclosure (FDS) with the NYS Commission on Ethics and Lobbying in Government (the “Commissionâ€).
Employees driving company vehicles must complete defensive driver training once every three years for current MNR drivers, or within 180 days of hire or transfer for an employee entering an authorized driving position.
