The Illinois Department of Central Management Services (CMS) Division of Vehicles is seeking to hire a Passenger and Light-duty Automotive Mechanic. This position will perform skilled mechanical repairs and preventive maintenance of passenger and light-duty vehicles for the states fleet and other off-road machinery. We value team players who are open minded and work well with others to accomplish goals and fulfill our mission of servicing the state’s vehicle fleet. The ideal candidate will be both highly motivated and professional. The State of Illinois offers an excellent benefits package that includes a defined pension plan, Health Insurance, dental, vision, for self and family, Deferred Compensation Plan, 13 paid holidays, prorated based on start date.
