Job Description


We are seeking a hardworking, motivatedOperations & HR Associate to join our Business Services Team (BST). This entry-level role supports both internal operations and human resources functions, with a primary focus on office and vendor coordination, facilities support, and documentation of internal workflows. The role also contributes to staffing, performance management, and systems administration. This role reports to the Chief of Staff and will be a part of the Business Services Team at Rios.


Key Responsibilities


Internal Operations


  • Support vendor relationships and act as a point of contact for external service providers.
  • Assist with on-site IT hardware coordination in partnership with the remote Technology Services Administrator.
  • Perform general office administration tasks such as scanning, filing, mail handling, and supply management.
  • Manage meeting room bookings and prepare rooms for guests, including technology setup.
  • Register guests in the buildings security system and greet candidates and clients upon arrival.
  • Support internal initiatives such as the Rios Partners gift program and ERP updates.
  • Write, update, and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)for recurring internal processes to ensure consistency and clarity across teams.
  • Track and support compliance with state registrations and other operational requirements, ensuring timely renewals and documentation.


Human Resources


  • Assist with staffing operations including job postings, candidate scheduling, and interview logistics.
  • Help coordinate performance management processes such as feedback cycles, goal tracking and performance management system updates
  • Maintain and update HR systems related to recruiting and employee records.
  • Collaborate with the Chief of Staff and HR team to support employee lifecycle processes.


Skills & Qualifications


  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Professional and courteous interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and willing to learn HR/recruiting platforms
  • 12 years of administrative or HR support experience preferred
  • Experience in professional services or consulting environments is a plus


Education and Experience


  • Prior office administrator experience preferred but not required
  • Bachelors degree in Psychology, Human Resources, Business Administration, or other related field preferredbut not required
  • Prior professional services experience preferred but not required
  • Organizational development, human capital, and process improvement experience preferred but not required

As such, a portion of profits is paid out to employees. The total amount of Profit-Sharing/Performance Bonus distributed to the team may vary year to year and will depend on numerous factors, including market conditions, company performance, and individual performance.
Retirement plan: Rios Partners offers a 401(k) and contributes an amount equivalent to 3% of the employees base salary each month to the designated fund. Employees may choose to contribute additional money into the 401(k) from their paycheck each month. The plan is administered through Fidelity.

Disability insurance: Rios Partners will pay 100% of the premium for both short-term and long-term disability insurance provided through MetLife.
Paid Time Off (PTO) and holidays: You will be eligible for three weeks of PTO (15 days) with an additional PTO based on service time as well as 12 paid holidays each year. In addition to accrued PTO, Rios Partners provides additional time off for both expected and unexpected events (e.g., Bereavement Leave, Jury Duty, Voting).
Maternity, Paternity, and Adoption Leave: Rios Partners celebrates employees choice to become parents. We are also aware that pregnancy and caring for an infant or a newly adopted child may cause additional life complexities. As such, we provide employees twelve (12) weeks of paid leave in association with the birth of an employees own child or the placement of a child with the employee in connection with adoption or foster care. To be eligible for Maternity/Paternity/Adoption Leave Program, team members must: 1) Have worked at Rios Partners full-time for a minimum of 12 continuous months. 2) Be in good employment standing with Rios Partners (i.e., not on probation). 3) Request leave a minimum of 30 days in advance if possible. If this is not possible, please place your request as soon as possible once you become aware of it. Regardless of eligibility for the Rios Partners Maternity/Paternity/Adoption Leave Program, all Rios Partners employees are eligible for the Department of Labors Family and Medical Leave Act entitlements as well as Rios Partners Short Term Disability plan.
