- Prepares, verifies, enters, and edits instant, online, and eclaims, for payment to Lottery winners.
- Explains and interprets rules, regulations and procedures to winners, non-winners, and the public.
- Answers incoming telephone calls from the public, financial institutions, Lottery winners and players, officials, Lottery retailers and others regarding lottery tickets, validations, and check writing activities, or directs them to other professional staff if of a complex nature.
- Performs a variety of complex clerical duties.
- Maintains logs and records of daily activities, validated winners, check writing reports, etc.
- Receives, opens, and distributes all incoming mail, keeping the Claims Manager apprised of any correspondence which requires immediate attention.
- Performs other duties as required or assigned which are reasonably within the scope of the duties enumerated above.
