Job Summary:


The Mitigation Project Manager oversees water, fire, and mold mitigation projects from start to finish, ensuring all work is performed according to industry standards, insurance requirements, and company protocols. This role involves managing field technicians, coordinating schedules, communicating with clients and adjusters, and ensuring timely and profitable completion of projects.

Key Responsibilities:


Manage multiple mitigation projects simultaneously from initiation to completion.


Conduct site inspections and create accurate scopes of work using Xactimate or similar software.


Oversee field crews to ensure efficient and quality execution of jobs.


Serve as the main point of contact for property owners, insurance adjusters, and third parties.


Ensure compliance with IICRC standards and all safety regulations.


Maintain detailed project documentation including photos, notes, moisture logs, and change orders.


Schedule and coordinate equipment, labor, and materials for each project.


Monitor project budgets, timelines, and profitability.


Provide estimates and secure proper documentation and approvals before work begins.


Participate in on-call rotation and respond to emergency losses when needed.


Train and mentor field staff and support their development.

Qualifications:


High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred.


Minimum 2 years of experience in water mitigation, restoration, or construction project management.


IICRC WRT certification required; ASD, AMRT, or other certifications preferred.


Strong knowledge of Xactimate, job management software (like DASH, Encircle), and mitigation equipment.


Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.


Ability to work in a fast-paced, on-call environment and manage multiple priorities.


Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

On-site inspections in residential and commercial properties.


Office-based administrative and scheduling duties.


Exposure to wet, mold-affected, and potentially hazardous environments.
