Supplement and support case management services through the Stronger Connections Grant at assigned campus.
Assist in addressing the academic and non-academic needs of students by providing safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environments resulting in improved academic achievement, mental health, behavioral and emotional health, physical health and overall well- being of students.
Bachelor’s degree in Education, Psychology, Social Work or related field
Master’s Degree or enrolled in a graduate program - (preferred)
Valid Texas teaching certificate or a valid professional license to practice in the State of Texas or minimum of three years teaching, counseling, or serving as a case manager or social worker
Experience serving in a leadership role (preferred)
Knowledge of federal, state, and local requirements related to social, emotional and behavioral needs
Knowledge of case management services, behavioral principles, and intervention strategies
Knowledge of crisis intervention strategies
Ability to evaluate instructional approaches and offer strategies to improve student learning
Ability to multi-task and provide behavior support at numerous sites
Ability to interpret policy, procedures, data and evaluate programs
Strong organizational, communication, public relations, and interpersonal skills
