$25.42 - 31.78 per hour (Note: The hourly rate will commensurate based on education and occupational experience).


GRANT FUNDED - LIMITED TERM (THROUGH JUNE 30, 2026)


SHIFT: Day/evening/weekend hours | Flexible based upon the needs of the College


LOCATION: Lakeshore College - Cleveland, Wisconsin


POSITION SUMMARY: Provide student-focused individualized assistance, coordinate mentoring, provide academic support, and assist adjunct/full-time instructors as needed. Academic Support role will provide 250-325 hours of total time supporting students and instructors for program-specific courses in the Legal Studies/Paralegal program.


Provide an exceptional customer service experience to both internal and external customers throughout every interaction.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS (Other duties may be assigned):


(100%) Academic Support


  • Provide regular analysis of student success and intervene when students are not progressing in coursework
  • Provide strategies and monitoring to help students graduate.
  • Assist with collecting and recording observational data related to student retention and graduation.
  • Meet with each student twice per semester to coach, monitor progress, and adjust the study plans if necessary.
  • Recommend and/or implement instructional strategies to improve learner success - directed to all students or individual students in


conjunction with program instructor.


  • Develop or assist in the development of worksheets, study guides and other educational media materials for Program instructors.
  • Maintain student records of attendance, projects, grades, academic progress and other requirements.
  • Maintain time log of student-facing and administrative time.


EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:


  • Associate degree from a regionally accredited college or university in a related discipline required.
  • Two years (4,000 hours) of relevant occupational experience required.
