Overview


The

Leasing and Operations Coordinator plays a key role in supporting the daily operations of property management and leasing activities. This position acts as a liaison between property management, leasing functions, tenants, and vendors to ensure smooth coordination of leasing, administrative tasks, and operational support. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly organized, and customer-focused.


Responsibilities


Leasing Support


  • Own the leasing and marketing activities for all assets in the Grid Management East Boston portfolio.
  • Post available units to rental websites such as Zillow, Apartments.com, etc.
  • Conduct property tours and showings, highlighting the features, amenities, and neighborhood of each property.
  • Regularly walk properties to inspect condition of premises. Arrange for necessary maintenance as needed.
  • Complete credit and background checks for applicants to determine qualifications.
  • Correspond with prospective residents, establish and maintain good rapport.
  • Effectively communicate the leasing process, including submitting the application and all details for moving in.
  • Maintain accurate records of tenant applications, leases, and other documentation with thorough data entry and filing.
  • Responsible for lease renewal process. Includes sending out renewals, following up with residents, adjusting rent amounts and lease terms in Appfolio as needed.
  • Comply with all Fair Housing guidelines, as well as state and federal guidelines.


Operations and Administration


  • Manage vendor coordination for repairs, inspections, and maintenance requests.
  • Accompany vendors and contractors onsite as needed, such as pest control, landscaping services, etc.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong, loyal relationships with all constituents (i.e., owners, residents, employees, and vendors).
  • Provides general administrative support to other Property Management functions.
  • All other duties as assigned.


Skills and Qualifications


  • Strong communication skills, interpersonal skills, work ethic and flexible attitude towards responsibilities required.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office applications required.
  • Ability to learn property management / leasing database application.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to work within time constraints.
  • Leasing, sales and/or marketing experience preferred.
  • A valid driver�s license and reliable transportation is required.
  • Bilingual skills are a plus.


Education


  • Associate or Bachelor degree (in a relevant field of study) or commensurate work experience required.
