Children's Montessori is seeking a compassionate, experienced, and Montessori certified

Lead Montessori Children’s House Guide to join our dedicated team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Montessori pedagogy and a commitment to fostering independence, curiosity, and a lifelong love of learning in children aged 3 to 6 years.


The Lead Guide will be responsible for creating and maintaining a prepared environment, guiding students through the Montessori curriculum, collaborating with assistants and families, and contributing to the overall success of our Montessori community.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Curriculum & Classroom Leadership
  • Prepare and maintain a developmentally appropriate and aesthetically pleasing Montessori environment aligned with Montessori principles.
  • Deliver Montessori lessons tailored to the individual developmental needs of each child.
  • Observe and assess student progress, maintaining accurate and timely records.
  • Maintain an orderly, respectful, and nurturing classroom atmosphere.
  • Team Collaboration
  • Supervise and mentor classroom assistants, ensuring alignment with Montessori practices.
  • Work collaboratively with fellow guides and administrative staff to foster a unified school community.
  • Participate in regular team meetings, professional development, and school events.
  • Family Engagement
  • Communicate effectively and respectfully with families regarding their child�s development and learning.
  • Conduct parent-teacher conferences, prepare progress reports, and offer guidance on Montessori philosophy and practices.
  • Support new families with orientation to the Montessori method and classroom expectations.
  • Professionalism & Growth
  • Uphold Montessori standards and maintain a commitment to lifelong learning and professional development
  • Serve as a role model for grace, courtesy, and respect in all interactions.


Qualifications:


  • Montessori Certification for ages 3-6 (Children�s House)
  • Bachelor�s degree in Education or related field (preferred)
  • Minimum of 2 years� experience as a Lead Guide in a Montessori Children�s House classroom
  • Strong classroom management and observation skills
  • Passion for the Montessori philosophy and commitment to its implementation
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with staff and families from diverse backgrounds
