Tahoe Donner Association is looking for a fun and personable

Kid’s Club Coordinator to join our Trout Creek Recreation Center Team! The Kid’s Club Coordinator is responsible for the day-to-day operation, coordination, and safety of the children who participate in accordance with Tahoe Donner policies, procedures, including any relevant federal, state, and/or regional legislation, policies, and procedures. The Kid’s Club Coordinator will both lead and actively participate in the Kid’s Club program and operations. .


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS


Provide excellent customer service to members, guests, business partners and employees. Ensures all staff meet or exceed the highest level of guest service in the performance of their duties.


Uphold Tahoe Donner Association’s zero tolerance standard for sexual abuse and molestation by following protocols to protect participants from inappropriate behavior by staff, members, guests, public and other participants.


Ensures an entertaining and safe experience for members’ children in keeping with Tahoe Donner Standards.


Create and maintain age-appropriate activities and programming.


Provide support information on activities, schedules, and registration requirements to members, guests and public.


Prepares departmental payroll on time and accurately.


Assist with snow removal including shoveling, snow blowing, and clearing snow from walkways and handicap access, equipment and other areas as needed.


Assists management with various administrative duties such as facility usage data entry, scheduling, sales reporting, staff reviews, payroll, etc.

We are looking for the following qualifications:


  • Demonstrates excellent communication and �people skillsâ€; must love engaging and interacting with children.
  • Team oriented ideals, willingness to work hard, and a desire to learn.
  • Must be a high energy self-starter, with keen interest and ability in outdoor adventure.
  • Demonstrated effective organizational skills.
  • Current cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and first aid certifications for infants, children and adults are required.


These skills and abilities are typically acquired through the completion of a high school diploma or associate degree from a two-year college or technical school plus six months relevant experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of formal training, education and experience which demonstrates the ability to perform all of the duties of the position.
