Position Overview:


Sort of Stephanie is looking for a Janitorial Assistant that will play a dual role within our company, providing both clerical support and assistance with cleaning job sites as needed during the day. This position requires a versatile individual who is detail-oriented, reliable, and capable of managing multiple tasks efficiently. We are looking for candidates that have a solid work history in clerical and or admin roles. Cleaning experience is not required, but a work history that demonstrates long terms of employment with the same company is demanded. Canidate must live in Oakland County.


Position Details:


Monday - Friday: 10:00am - 4:00pm (30 min unpaid lunch)


Key Responsibilities:


Clerical Duties:


  • Answer light phone calls and taking messages
  • Schedule and confirm appointments and meetings.
  • Manage employee scheduling
  • Maintain and update company records, databases, and filing systems.
  • Assist with payroll processing and invoice preparation.
  • Vet new hires and conduct group interviews
  • Onboarding setup and paperwork
  • Order and manage office supplies and cleaning inventory.
  • Deliver supplies to jobsites
  • Prepare and distribute correspondence, reports, and other documents as needed.
  • Handle customer inquiries and provide excellent customer service.


Cleaning Duties:


  • Assist/ fill in with cleaning commercial properties, including offices, restrooms, and common areas as needed during the day.
  • Perform tasks such as dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and trash removal.
  • Ensure cleaning supplies are stocked and equipment is maintained in good working order.
  • Follow all safety and sanitation policies when handling cleaning chemicals.


Requirements / Qualifications:


  • High school diploma
  • Previous experience in a janitorial and clerical role is required.
  • Previous experience in hosting meetings/interviews
  • Previous experience in an administrative role
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize work effectively.
  • Ability to have a Flexible schedule to fill in for evening shifts when needed
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Reliable transportation and a valid driver�s license.


Physical Requirements:


  • Ability to stand for 3-6 hours/day, lift up to 20 lbs.
  • Ability to perform repetitive tasks.
