Veterans’ Nursing Assistant-Certified (VNAC) are responsible for caring for the veterans that so bravely served our country. They assist with physical care of residents, activities of daily living, feeding, bathing, personal hygiene care, ambulation, transfer and repositioning, dressing, toileting, take and record vital signs, and document care records. The ideal candidate will be a caring and compassionate individual who will engage in the residents’ time served in the military and learning from their experiences. In addition, the VNACs will play a vital role in the mission of creating and maintaining a unique atmosphere of the highest levels of resident well-being and a harmonious work environment for staff.
