About the Role:


As our

HR Specialist, you’ll be a key player in supporting the Human Resources department across recruitment, onboarding, compliance, and employee engagement. This is a hands-on role that helps keep our HR operations running smoothly while enhancing the employee experience in a fast-paced behavioral health environment.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Manage full-cycle recruitment: job postings, applicant screening, and interview coordination
  • Facilitate onboarding and orientation for new hires
  • Maintain accurate and compliant employee records in our HRIS and physical files
  • Assist with benefits enrollment and respond to employee inquiries
  • Support compliance with policies, laws, and licensing requirements
  • Track training, certification, and licensure renewals
  • Coordinate internal communications and staff engagement activities
  • Provide administrative support to the HR team


Qualifications:


  • Associate's or Bachelor�s degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field (preferred)
  • 1+ year of experience in an HR or administrative role (healthcare/behavioral health preferred)
  • Strong understanding of HR laws, regulations, and best practices
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with BambooHR a plus
  • Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
  • Discretion and professionalism when handling confidential information
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-turnover environment


Preferred Skills:


  • PHR or SHRM-CP certification (or ability to obtain within 2 years)
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
  • A passion for people, employee service, and cultivating positive workplace culture
