The PODER Academy Secondary School is looking for a passionate and dedicated High School English Teacher. The job of the English Teacher is to provide support to the instructional process by serving as a teacher with specific responsibilities for supervising students, developing lesson plans, delivering direct instruction as well as individual student instruction as tutoring, and collaboration with other teachers and administration.
BA or BS degree in Secondary English
Must be Highly Qualified Status
Must be endorsed as an English Teacher 6-12 in WY
Passion for teaching diverse and free/reduced lunch students
Experience working with 9-12 grade and/or experience working with diverse students
Bilingual in English/Spanish is a plus (not required)
