Position Summary:


Mint & Needle is seeking a dynamic, sales-driven Medical Assistant/Front Desk Attendant to join our aesthetics team. This role is ideal for a motivated individual with a passion for aesthetics, strong clinical skills, and a talent for upselling treatments, skincare products, and aesthetic packages.


As a Medical Assistant/Front Desk Attendant, you will work closely with our patients to schedule appointments, check in/out, and answer questions. This team member will also work closely with medical providers to assist in procedures while proactively engaging with patients to educate them on treatment plans, memberships, and retail skincare options. The ideal candidate thrives in a high-end, customer-focused environment and is eager to drive revenue growth through patient education and consultative selling.


Job Responsibilities:


Front Desk and Administrative Responsibilities:


  • Greet patients warmly upon arrival and assist with check-in and check-out procedures.
  • Answer phones, respond to patient inquiries, and schedule appointments.
  • Process patient payments and maintain accurate financial records.
  • Manage appointment calendars to ensure an efficient clinic flow.
  • Support the clinic manager and medical staff with administrative tasks and patient communications as needed.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming reception area.


Clinical Responsibilities:


  • Assist the medical practitioner in performing aesthetic treatments and procedures, such as injectables and other non-surgical procedures.
  • Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and ensure all necessary equipment is ready for procedures.
  • Perform pre-treatment and post-treatment patient care, including applying topical anesthetic.
  • Ensure patient comfort and safety throughout their visit.
  • Manage inventory of medical supplies and inform clinic manager of necessary ordering.
  • Assist in marketing and promotional activities, such as social media posts and patient consultations.


Skills and Qualifications:


  • Certified Medical Assistant (CMA).
  • Previous experience in a medical aesthetics or dermatology setting.
  • Knowledge of aesthetic treatments and procedures.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in work.
  • Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) systems.


Job Type: Full-time


Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
