Description

Position Summary:


To provide programmatic, clerical and administrative support to the program campus coordinator and instructional team.


August - June (Part-time); Monday - Thursday; 2:30pm - 6:00pm (will work with daytime staff on start time)

8. Knowledge of before/after or out-of-school type programs.


Essential Functions:


1. Create a learning environment where students feel valued and eager to attend.


2. Record daily attendance according to grant requirements.


3. Responsible for the collection of data; attendance, snack, grades, MAP and other assessments.


4. Attend training functions related to the position


5. Address concerns from parents, school day staff and Community Partners.


6. Your supervisor is the Campus Coordinator. Communicate with them effectively and daily.


7. Process Registration/Enrollment Forms, check for signatures and that it is complete, if not send back to parent.


8. Enroll students into the Cayen System.


9. Send letter of confirmation home to verify enrollment.


10. Create a file folder for all students.


11. Enroll students in classes in Cayen per the Coordinator.


12. Enter daily attendance. The Office of Extended Learning will be checking weekly to make sure attendance is entered.


13. Provide weekly attendance sheets for all classes to the Coordinator.


14. Communicate with Coordinator and parents about student absences, and follow any prescribed procedures related to absence reporting and recording.


15. Communicate with coordinator regarding weekly time sheet.


16. Sending out Memos/Letters to families


17. Maintain notes on any activity you do regarding students, this includes behavior, contact with families etc.


18. Use of Gmail calendar and shared google docs.


19. Other duties as assigned by the coordinator and/or Director of Extended Learning.

Qualifications

Education and Experience:


Minimum of high school diploma, General Education Diploma (GED), or High School Equivalency Diploma (HSED)


One year of experience in a clerical support or customer service role
