EM medical director to lead our team at Abrazo Peoria Emergency Center. This is a unique leadership opportunity to shape the future of emergency care while continuing to deliver high-quality clinical services in a state-of-the-art facility.

Position Overview

As Medical Director, you will provide clinical and administrative leadership, ensuring the delivery of safe, efficient, and compassionate emergency care. You will collaborate closely with hospital administration, nursing leadership, and TeamHealth support to maintain and enhance quality metrics, operational performance, and team engagement.

What You Can Expect* 12-hour clinical shifts with an equitable rotation of days, nights, and weekends

• Protected administrative time for leadership responsibilities
  
• Cross-credentialing at additional Abrazo hospitals and freestanding EDs for increased flexibility and income opportunities
  
• Oversight of clinical performance, scheduling, recruiting, and quality initiatives
  

Ideal Candidate Qualifications* Board certified in emergency medicine

• Prior leadership or director-level experience preferred but not required
  
• Excellent communication, team-building, and organizational skills
  
• Strong commitment to patient-centered care and operational excellence
  

About Abrazo Peoria Emergency Center

Abrazo Peoria is a 14-bed, freestanding emergency department that serves as a critical access point for emergency care in the West Valley. The facility is supported by a full-service lab, advanced imaging capabilities, and is affiliated with Abrazo Arrowhead Campus, ensuring seamless continuity of care.
