- Serve as the go-to resource for all EHR questions, issues, and support requests
- Troubleshoot and resolve system errors, workflow issues, and user access concerns in a timely manner
- Assist in the planning, configuration, and implementation of new EHR systems or upgrades
- Provide user training and support to clinical and administrative staff
. Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure EHR functionality aligns with organizational needs . Track and document EHR-related issues, resolutions, and improvements
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA and organizational policies related to health information management
- Support HIM functions, including chart audits, release of information, and documentation requests
- Serve as a backup to the current HIM employee and assist during high-volume periods or absences
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Health Information Management, Health Informatics, or a related field preferred
- Experience with Electronic Health Record systems
- Understanding of HIPAA regulations and medical documentation standards
- Strong technical troubleshooting and customer service skills
- Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical users
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and analytical abilities
- Previous experience supporting clinical teams in a healthcare setting is a plus
