- Under general direction, serves as a Domain Architect for the Department of Innovation & Technology (DoIT), defining, organizing, planning, executing, and overseeing the architecture roadmap of specific domains within the agency and functioning as a knowledge expert for DoIT and client agencies within the domain of the Group Chief Information Officers (GCIOs), relative to applications, processes, and future direction.
- Supports Change Management in identifying and mitigating risks related to the domain�s architecture, including potential impacts on security, performance, and scalability and communicates architectural strategies and decisions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Consults with enterprise architects, GCIOs, CIOs, project managers, and business analysts during solution delivery to ensure proposed solutions meet agency and DoIT�s goals while adhering to standards.
- Develops and improves Business Capability repository, domain architecture standards and approaches, and improves overall delivery across all domains and agencies.
- Keeps abreast of new developments in the information technology field by continuing education through online training platforms, meetings, training sessions, seminars, and conferences to increase familiarity with and remain current on products, vendors, techniques, and procedures
