JOB SUMMARY
The Director of Player Development is responsible for providing support and mentorship to athletes, and helping them to navigate the any challenges they may face, to include personal development, and career planning. This position plays a crucial role in supporting the holistic development of athletes, both on and off the field, with the aim of maximizing their potential and contributing to the success of the team or organization.
PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES* Develops and oversees programs aimed at improving the skills and performance of players; this involves coordinating with coaches, trainers, and other staff to design and implement training regimens tailored to individual players' needs
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES* Knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS* Bachelor's degree in sports management, education, psychology, or a closely related field
