We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Nursing (DON
) to provide leadership, planning, coordination, and guidance for our organization’s nursing operations. The DON will be responsible for overseeing patient care management, resource allocation, and fiscal oversight, ensuring the delivery of high-quality care across all nursing services. As a key member of the hospital’s management team, the DON will actively participate in strategic planning, policy development, and administrative decision-making to support the overall operations of the hospital.Qualified Director of Nursing candidate must possess a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN), hold a current Wisconsin RN license, and have a minimum of three years of management experience in a healthcare setting. A Master’s degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, or a related field is strongly preferred. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a thorough understanding of healthcare operations, nursing management strategies, financial management, and research methodologies. Strong supervisory, organizational, decision-making, and interpersonal skills are essential, along with the ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
