We are looking for a receptionist to join our team!
We are a children's dental located in the Mission District, San Francisco and want to find a person who is bright and energetic to be our front receptionist. We work with only children, so we hope that you will be able to match their energy and be comfortable with speaking with the parents.
It is a bonus if you are able to use OPEN DENTAL software and be comfortable with dental terminology. We are looking for someone who is able to speak spanish as well.
- Greet patients and visitors warmly, ensuring a positive first impression.
- Manage patient check-in and check-out processes efficiently.
- Verify insurance information and assist patients with any inquiries regarding their coverage.
- Maintain accurate health information management records.
- Schedule appointments and manage the calendar for our dentists.
- Handle incoming calls, directing them appropriately while providing excellent patient service.
- Utilize electronic health record systems such as Epic, Athenahealth, or Eaglesoft for patient management.
- Perform clerical duties including filing, data entry, and maintaining organized patient records.
- Assist with administrative tasks as needed to support the healthcare team.
- Speak spanish.
- Previous experience in a front desk or receptionist role within a healthcare setting is preferred.
- Proficiency in dental terminology is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with insurance verification processes is essential.
- Experience using OPEN DENTAL SOFTWARE.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are required to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with patients and staff.
