Expectations
Flexibility: Aviation operates around the clock. You must be able to work varying shifts, including early mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays. The ability to adapt to sudden schedule changes due to weather or operational needs is crucial.
Problem-Solving: Station Agents are often the first point of contact for passengers experiencing delays, cancellations, or other disruptions. You will need to handle these situations calmly, offering solutions and alternatives to ensure a positive customer experience.
Attention to Detail: Whether you�re processing a reservation, ensuring baggage is properly loaded, or conducting a final safety check, accuracy is key in this role to maintain the highest levels of safety and service.
Qualifications
Required:
Valid Driver�s License.
Ability to pass a Criminal Background Test for Airport Badging.
Capability to lift and move items up to 50 lbs on a regular basis.
Proficiency with standard computer software (email, messenger applications, etc.).
Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
Preferred:
Prior experience in customer service, particularly in an airline or aviation setting.
Familiarity with airline operations (flight scheduling, cargo handling, ground support).
Proficiency in TakeFlite or similar airline reservation systems.
Completion of de-icer training and forklift training with proficiency in both operations.
Physical Requirements: This role involves standing for long periods, lifting heavy items, and working outdoors in various weather conditions. Agents are expected to wear appropriate clothing for outdoor work and adhere to company uniform policies.
