Delta Health is seeking a detail-oriented and dependable
Clinic Office Clerk to support our clinic operations and medical records functions. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, customer-service focused, and committed to maintaining confidentiality while handling patient health information. This position plays a vital role in ensuring smooth clinic operations, accurate medical record keeping, and efficient administrative support for clinical staff and patients.o Perform all clerical functions within the clinic department with professionalism and accuracy.
o Greet and assist patients, family members, and visitors in a courteous and helpful manner.
o Answer incoming calls, schedule appointments, and remind patients of upcoming visits.
o Collect and verify insurance information and accept patient payments.
o Access, retrieve, and deliver medical charts as needed for patient visits.
o Scan and upload paper documents into electronic health records (EHR).
o Prepare and distribute medical records in compliance with HIPAA and organizational policies.
o Extract, review, and enter health data from external sources (e.g., QHN) into Athena Health.
o Maintain and organize front office supplies and support mail routing, copying, and filing tasks.
o Enter health history, problem lists, and other structured data based on extracted documentation.
o Support interdepartmental projects and special assignments as required.
