Responsibilities:
+ Measure and monitor vital signs (blood pressure, temperature, pulse, respiratory rate).
+ Prepare patients for exams and assist healthcare providers during procedures.
+ Collect and prepare lab specimens (e.g., blood, urine) for testing.
+ Perform basic diagnostic tests (e.g., EKGs, vision tests).
+ Sterilize and maintain medical instruments.
+ Answer phones, take messages, and handle patient inquiries.
+ Manage patient records, ensuring they are accurate, up-to-date, and confidential.
+ Process billing and insurance claims, including coding and verifying patient information.
+ Educate patients on health management and preventive care.
