The Camp Manager is responsible for the effective commercial and operational management of all aspects of remote camp operations for the assigned account. Manages client and stakeholder relationships and achieves and maintains DUS standards giving the highest achievable quality.
Key responsibilities include but are not limited to overseeing the efficient delivery of food and environmental services (housekeeping, janitorial, maintenance) at several remote camps on the North Slope of Alaska; organizing and directing daily operations; managing scope of work within budget; interacting with the client for daily matters related to the execution of the contract, and managing the workforce. The Project Manager ensures all functions are performed in compliance with the contract’s scope of work, DUS policies, standard operating procedures, and all applicable laws/regulations.
This position will be working 12-hour shifts on a 3 weeks on /3 weeks off rotational schedule at a remote camp in Alaska. Point of hire: Anchorage, AK. Company pays for flights between Anchorage, AK to/from the jobsite. Company provides meals and lodging while at the job site.

As a condition of employment, must be able to successfully complete a criminal background investigation, drug screen, and a post-offer physical.

The employee will be required to live and work in a remote and confined workspace for extended periods of time and exposure to work assignments consisting of twelve-hour shifts. The majority of the work is performed in a remote setting with a wide variety of people in differing functions, personalities and abilities. There may be a lack of immediate access to critical medical services as well as urban community services.
The employee’s work requires routine walking, standing, sitting, bending and carrying items. Applicant will be required to successfully complete a post-offer pre-hire physical and Functional Capacity Exam.
