The ideal candidate

MUST have 2+ years' experience IN A LAW FIRM. Landlord/Tenant or calendar clerk experience law firm is a plus.


Our new team member must be able to provide demonstrated proficiency in administrative skills, Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Word. The ideal candidate must possess strong communication skills, attention to detail, excellent grammar, the ability to follow directions be client service oriented, have excellent time management efficiency, keen attention to detail, the ability to work in a busy team environment with minute-to-minute changes, and an ability to learn quickly.


Motivated, reliable, energetic, organized, proactive, resourceful, eager professionals, who are able to work independently, follow directions with little to no monitoring or follow-up and are ready to dive in and assist the firm should apply.


Primary Responsibilities:


  • Enter all court appearances, conferences, motions, arbitration, trials and depositions into the calendar system, electronic and paper files as necessary;
  • Add notes to each appearance;
  • Coordinate outside counsel for appearances needing coverage;
  • Prepare attorney files for court appearances;
  • Enter appearances and billing for clients;
  • Coordinate client appearances and/or documentation needed for court;
  • Prepare and attend weekly court appearance assignment meetings;
  • Provide weekly calendar to all attorneys and support staff;
  • Assist with screening telephone calls;
  • Providing support to administrative support staff as needed;


The successful candidate must be able to provide high-level support to the team by:


  • Maintaining clear communication with all executives, internal staff, clients, vendors, and other external parties;
  • Possessing strong organization skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively, while meeting deadlines;
  • Assisting in facilitating meetings, and preparing for events;
  • Maintaining high level confidentiality regarding all correspondence, data, and other sensitive information;
  • Exceptional attention to detail, strong proof-reading and problem-solving skills to address office needs;
  • Well developed and professional interpersonal skills and a positive attitude;
  • Sound judgment and ability to exhibit independent thinking

Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
