Lead Behavioral Health Technician/House Manager

JOB DESCRIPTION
Summary/Objective
The Lead Behavioral Health Technician (Lead BHT) plays a critical role within
the residential care treatment team, offering leadership and direct care to
residents with behavioral health challenges. In addition to the core
responsibilities of a Behavioral Health Technician, the Lead BHT oversees the
daily operations of the residential program, supervises staff, and ensures the
implementation of individual treatment plans while maintaining a safe and
supportive environment.

Supervisory Responsibility
This position supervises all BHTs and BHPPs within the residential program,
excluding contracted personnel.
Work Environment
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed
to fumes or airborne particles and some mechanical equipment. The
employee may also be exposed to a variety of patient conditions and
elements. This position operates within an inpatient adult behavioral health
residential facility and involves frequent interaction with individuals who are
mentally ill, disabled, elderly, or emotionally distressed.

this job. The employee is regularly required to talk or hear and frequently
required to stand, walk, use hands to handle or feel, and reach with hands
and arms. The employee's vision must be adequate to read correspondence,
computer screens, forms, etc.
Position Type and Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. Hours of work are typically Monday through Friday
from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., but may require sporadic after-hours and
weekend availability.
Travel
This position requires travel to all residential homes within the designated
service area.
Preferred Education & Experience- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in counseling, psychology, or a related field.- Experience in designing and leading psychoeducation groups.- Knowledge of behavioral health interventions and ability to train others.
Additional Eligibility Qualifications- 21 years of age or older.- Fingerprint clearance level 1 card and TB screening annually.- Valid Arizona Class D Driver's License with a good driving record.
