The

Asset Management Specialist at ASG is responsible for supporting the Fleet and Asset Management team within the organization on a variety of duties.

Pay Scale: $46,000 - $56,000 / year

What you’ll do: (Including, but not limited to):


  • Maintain records of the fleet vehicles and equipment
  • Inspect and evaluate vehicles and equipment for damage and other necessary repairs
  • Manage multiple databases and applications daily as the primary point of contact; data bases include but are not limited to Hilti Asset Management, Enterprise Fleet Management, SharePoint Records Databases, and Capital Asset Purchasing
  • Update the asset management system to maintain accurate equipment history and prepare asset reports for management
  • Accepting and inventorying inbound deliveries from several vendors
  • Accurately fulfilling/staging of outbound material packages for the installation teams and delivering materials to job sites on an as needed basis
  • Checking deliveries for accuracy/damage, facilitating the return of damaged materials, and reconciling any shortages or damages
  • Maintaining inventory levels of all in stock materials; inventory control and management
  • Maintain relationships with multiple vendors for tooling and equipment supply
  • Develop new solutions to streamline internal processes to reduce loss and waste
  • Maintain asset documentation in accordance with legal regulations; this includes, but is not limited to asset registration, insurance, inspections, or other requirements as applicable
  • Assist staff with issues and requests relevant to asset management and fleet operations
  • Monitor equipment and vehicle service trends and work to enforce maintenance schedules
  • Review organizational inventory on a regular basis and conduct audits on inventory counts as required
  • Assist facilities and real estate management with special projects as needed
  • Work with facility contacts across the organizational footprint in successfully overcoming local challenges
  • Performs other duties as assigned, which are reasonably within the scope of the responsibilities of this job classification


What you’ll need:


General


  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite


Technical


  • Construction and Equipment yard maintenance or 2 years of equivalent experience required
  • Knowledge of listed data bases above preferred
  • Ability to operate a forklift and knowledge of electrical and telecom materials preferred

  • Highly organized and detail-oriented
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently


Job Type: Full-Time - Salary (Exempt)

  • General office environment and regular business hours, limited travel


Your Physical Requirements:


  • This position will require 50% office or administrative tasks and 50% operational tasks; should be able to push, pull, or lift up to 50 lbs. infrequently
