Job Description
- Prepare food in accordance with sanitation regulations, as well as standards and procedures.
- Review menus prior to preparation of food
- Prepare meals in accordance with planned menus, standardized recipes and production sheets
- Review extended menus with serving staff
- Takes and records temperatures of all food served.
- Assist in inventory and storing incoming food, supplies, etc, as necessary. Moves and lifts stocks and equipment as necessary.
- Ensures that food and supplies for the next day's meal are readily available
- Assist in maintaining al work/storage areas in a clean and properly arranged manner at all times. Signs off on cleaning schedule
- Performs administrative requirements such as completing necessary forms and reports, and submit reports to the department head as directed.
