Aircraft mechanic I working in a rotary-wing aviation prop and rotor back shop.
Responsibilities:
- Candidate will work on components from three MDS aircraft: MH-6/MH-47/MH-60.
- Responsible for inspecting, adjusting, repairing, and returning to service power train components including gearboxes, rotor heads, tail rotor systems, stabilators, rotor dampeners, and other components.
- Will use supplied technical references to complete all assigned work.
- Will document all work completed in ACN.
- Will use PPE and hazmat products IAW with technical publications.
Qualifications:
- Must be a U.S. citizen.
- Must be able to obtain secret clearance.
- Must have own tools and toolbox.
- Must be familiar with digital record keeping systems such as ACN, ULLS-A, ELAS, etc.
- Minimum of 6 years in aviation maintenance, preferably 2 years in a back shop environment.
