LEADING THE SHINE THAT KEEPS AIRCRAFT SPOTLESS AND SAFE - AIRCRAFT DETAILER LEAD WANTED!


The Aircraft Detailer Lead DOT supervises and coordinates detailing teams to ensure high-quality cleaning and maintenance of aircraft, oversees training, manages supplies, enforces safety standards, and communicates with airport and airline personnel for efficient service delivery.


WHAT IT’S LIKE TO WORK AS AN AIRCRAFT DETAILER LEAD DOT


Lead and oversee the aircraft detailing team, providing direction and fostering a positive work environment

Coordinate and assign detailing tasks to team members to ensure timely completion

Train and mentor new and existing staff in advanced aircraft detailing techniques and safety standards

Inspect aircraft after detailing to ensure compliance with company and airline quality standards

Monitor workflow and manage schedules to meet airline deadlines and operational demands

Order and manage inventory of detailing supplies and ensure proper maintenance of equipment

Liaise with maintenance and operations teams for scheduling, access, and coordination of special cleaning needs

Follow all DOT regulations

Exemplify PrimeFlight customer service and safety standards

Perform any additional duties as assigned by management

QUALIFICATIONS


18 years of age or older

Eligible to work in the United States

Must have a valid state-issued driver’s license with an acceptable driving record

Communicate effectively in English (reading, writing, speaking)

1 Year of aviation cleaning experience

Knowledge of the Aviation Industry

Ability to access and interpret information in print and electronically, including the use of electronic devices including IPads/Tablets, Computers, and Mobile Devices

Effectively communicate with colleagues and clients, both in-person and through electronic means

Ability to pass a DOT background check and drug screen

Pass a background check and drug screen

Eligibility to acquire needed credentials and clearances (FAA, TSA, Port Authority, U.S. Customs and U.S. Postal- as applicable)

Airlines are 24/7, so we need our team members to be flexible to work various shifts including nights, weekends and holidays
