VKP Medical is seeking a per diem C-Arm Technician for its Williamsville location of VKP Medical. The medical practice offers a wide range of treatments for neuropathy and conditions affecting your neck, lower back and joints.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare patients for exams and procedures by explaining the process and positioning them correctly
  
• Operate and maintain imaging equipment to ensure accurate and high-quality images
  
• Review images for quality and ensure they meet diagnostic standards
  
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to interpret and analyze images
  
• Input and maintain patient records and update medical histories as necessary
  
• Adhere to safety protocols and maintain aseptic technique during procedures
  
• Provide compassionate care to patients during procedures, addressing any concerns or questions they may have
  

Requirements:

• Valid certification as an X-ray Technician
  
• Knowledge of medical imaging techniques, including X-rays
  
• Proficiency in using imaging equipment and software systems
  
• Understanding of human anatomy and physiology to accurately position patients for imaging procedures
  
• Ability to follow instructions from physicians and other healthcare professionals
  
• Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate image capture and interpretation
  
• Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients and healthcare team members
