Worship Leader

Amen Always Community Church is a nondenominational, multi-cultural church led by Pastors Daric and Freda Stevens. Amen Always Church was founded in 2003 in South, Florida.

We are a new church campus in Lugoff, South Carolina. We exist to connect people to Jesus and help them receive the power of His love. Our ministry is built on four core values: anointing, character, relationships, and service.

Responsible for the music for all worship services to create a welcoming setting for members and visitors to participate.

1. Engage with the staff and volunteers to support the overall mission, practices, core values, and standards of Amen Always Community Church.

2. Manage (plan, organize, implement, and continually improve) the actions for the assigned area of responsibilities.

3. Work with church resources to achieve the goals.

4. Coordinate with other ministries of Amen Always Community Church.

Provide leadership and produce outcomes for worship leadership team.

1. Develop the goals, objectives, and policy/procedures to perform the functions.

2. Coordinate with the specific Ministry Leaders and Ministry Teams to ensure: a. clear understanding of the mission and tasks of the respective teams b. that team members are oriented and trained to perform, and c. recruiting and welcoming new volunteer/paid musicians and singers as needed.

1. Worship Leader a. Participate in worship team meetings. b. Meet weekly with the Lead Pastor for worship planning. c. Select songs/ scripture / prayer for worship. d. Recruit and maintain staff of praise band members. e. Prepare music/ chord charts for band members. f. Prepare band & music for worship at mid-week (when necessary) and Sunday mornings. g. Help prepare worship presentation: song lyric slides, videos, slideshows, etc. h. Take responsibility to lead, or have a substitute leader, to lead the congregation in worship services.

2. Additional a. Attend Weekly Amen Always Community Church staff meetings. b. Participate in monthly AACC leadership team meetings (as necessary and determined in consultation with the Lead Pastor) c. Other duties as assigned by the Lead Pastor.

1. Reports and receives direction from the Lead Pastor.

2. Responds to and is available to communicate with individuals promptly (at least within 24 hours) regarding assigned areas of responsibility.
