Omega Technical Services is seeking an experienced

Work Week Manager to support our client in the successful execution of mission-critical operations at Los Alamos National Laboratory (LANL). This position is embedded within a highly regulated and dynamic environment, requiring a candidate with exceptional coordination, planning, and leadership skills to oversee weekly work execution while ensuring safety, compliance, and efficiency.


This position is in direct support of LANL operations but is not a position with LANL itself. The selected candidate will be employed by Omega Technical Services and will work in close partnership with laboratory personnel, contractors, and project stakeholders to ensure alignment with LANL’s mission and operational objectives.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Lead the development and management of the Weekly Work Schedule (WWS) for assigned facilities, systems, or programs
  • Coordinate and facilitate Work Control and Scheduling Meetings, ensuring all work is properly authorized, planned, and ready for execution
  • Collaborate with Work Control Planners, system engineers, operations personnel, safety professionals, and craft supervisors to ensure schedule readiness
  • Monitor real-time progress of scheduled work, adjust as needed, and manage emergent work while minimizing disruption to planned activities
  • Ensure resources (craft labor, permits, equipment, access, etc.) are properly allocated and available
  • Support Integrated Work Management (IWM) principles and contribute to continuous improvement of work planning and execution processes
  • Serve as the liaison between work planning, field execution, and facility operations teams
  • Maintain documentation, records, and reporting consistent with regulatory and procedural requirements


Minimum Qualifications:


  • Bachelor�s degree in a technical, engineering, or operations-related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Minimum of 5 years� experience in work control, scheduling, or operations within a nuclear, DOE, or similarly regulated environment
  • Strong knowledge of Integrated Work Management (IWM), work control processes, and schedule development tools
  • Demonstrated ability to coordinate multi-disciplinary teams and prioritize work in a dynamic environment
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and organizational skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and scheduling software (e.g., Primavera P6, Microsoft Project)
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a DOE Q clearance (active clearance strongly preferred)


Preferred Qualifications:


  • Prior experience at LANL or another DOE/NNSA national lab
  • Experience supporting nuclear facility operations, maintenance, or construction
  • Knowledge of LANL-specific work control systems and procedures
  • Active DOE Q clearance


Job Type: Full-time


Pay: $125,000.00 - $185,000.00 per year
