Job Summary


Effectively sell, service, and merchandise assigned spirits accounts in a professional and consultative manner. Build strong partnerships with account decision-makers to drive sales, ensure product visibility, and maintain brand standards. Share responsibility for rotation, positioning, delivery, and merchandising of all spirits brands represented by the company.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities


  • Sales Strategy & Execution

+ Maximize sales opportunities across all spirits brands, packages, and promotional allowances.

+ Achieve or exceed sales objectives, volume plans, and distribution goals for domestic and imported spirits.

+ Develop and execute daily/weekly pre-plans to meet divisional standards in the assigned channel (on- or off-premise).

+ Identify and pursue new sales and distribution opportunities.

  • Account Management & Relationship Building

+ Establish consistent call schedules and build consultative relationships with key decision-makers.

+ Use account management tools to identify opportunities for displays, promotions, and product placement.

+ Maintain required distribution levels and participate in monthly distribution initiatives.

  • Merchandising & Brand Visibility

+ For off-premise: Build impactful displays and ensure optimal shelf placement.

+ For on-premise: Ensure back-bar visibility, menu placements, and staff engagement with brand promotions.

+ Maintain current and strategic point-of-sale materials aligned with supplier marketing plans.

+ Monitor product freshness and rotate inventory to ensure quality standards.

  • Service & Operational Excellence

+ Provide timely and thorough service to all accounts, ensuring all tasks are completed to standard.

+ Coordinate with delivery and merchandising teams to ensure seamless execution.

+ Maintain accurate records, submit paperwork promptly, and follow order transmission schedules.

  • Compliance & Communication

+ Adhere to all local, state, and federal liquor regulations.

+ Stay informed on industry regulations and best practices.

+ Maintain open communication with internal teams and account stakeholders.

+ Participate in regular check-ins with supervisors and drivers to align on goals and execution.

  • Physical & Logistical Requirements

+ Frequent standing, walking, driving, and lifting (up to 50 lbs).

+ Maintain a clean and organized company vehicle and follow all maintenance protocols.

  • Organizational Stewardship

+ Maintain open communication with company leadership and staff to support a collaborative work environment.

+ Take initiative to understand roles beyond your own to support succession planning and organizational agility.

  • Education - Bachelor�s Degree, or equivalent
  • Experience - ten (10) or more years sales and management experience, prefer CPG industry
  • Licensing - valid Kentucky or Indiana Driver License
