We are seeking a dedicated Wound Care Nurse to join our team.
As a Wound Care Nurse you will also play an important role in helping our residents continue to live a meaningful and purpose life, by providing services to residents at the facility. We are trying to ensure that residents maintain a safe and comfortable home-like atmosphere.
-Administer prescribed medications and treatments as defined by state regulations in accordance with company policy, rules and regulations
-Review patient information to ensure correct dosage amounts of patient medications are administered
- Conduct treatment planning sessions with residents in order to understand their needs and sanified medication regimen
- Provide support in hospice care, acute care, and senior care settings
- Assist with basic medical needs, such as changing and dressing residents, charting
- Provide assistance with dementia care and memory support
- Collaborate and follow physician orders for residents� care
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, and communicate effectively with families, doctors, managers and staff.
-Active CPR
- Must have a Nurse License in good standing with the State of Texas
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting preferred
- Knowledge of Point Click Care
- Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Prioritize and time management skills
- Experience working in a long-term care facility preferred
- Ability to read, write and follow oral and written directions
